My First 2-D Animation from Kristina Runyan on Vimeo.
So this is my first 2-D animation I have ever made O.O It just so happened to end up being a very basic walk cycle chalked full of fundamental but important learning lessons. The walk cycle drawings are supposed to imitate a similar look and feel like those of pictures in a zoetrope. This little animation will be combined with the rest of the company logo for Wichita Kid Productions, and should be ready for posting in the next week. I had an amazing time working through this project and look forward to producing more 2-D work in the next month - I just received some new resources and materials recently and it is hard to think of anything else but animation.

Here are some quick concept designs I completed for Wichita Kid Productions. They wanted their company logo to be a slightly chubby little kid equipped with all the dressings any cowboy would want! (.... With the exception of a gun -.- But don't worry - he has a whip in case any funny business goes down.)

Ah ha! My very first Photoshop illustration using a Wacom tablet! My goal here was to figure out and test digital drawing so I can have a general feel for how this compares to traditional drawing. (This took me about 3 hours to start, play around and finish this piece.) This is Frank C. McCallous from Skylos - an animation by J.J.Chalupnik and whom I am creating storyboards and concept art for. I would like to post that work in the next couple of weeks, but first I need to finish work on a logo animation of a chubby running cowboy kid... just wait and see.. Oh! And for those of you who don't know... Frank is a flea ♥
